The story of Salsabil begins in early 2010. The State of Qatar, under the sponsorship of the League of Arab States, hosted the Doha Conference for Development and Investment in the Comoros, which was held in Doha in March 2010. As a result, the Arab Committee for Development and Investment was formed in the Comoros, and donor delegations began their fact-finding visits to the Comoros in 2010, when the idea for the project was born, as the project organizers understood the importance of supporting the United Republic. of the Comoros with a number of general impact development projects, and after studying the local market, dominated by the importation of water from abroad, and the importance of supporting the Comorian economy, promoting local products, providing employment opportunities for young people, and taking care of the health of the population The idea turned into a business plan in 2011. The plant was established at the end of 2012 and officially opened in July 2013.
